Elevator Operator

JOB FUNCTION, TASKS, and RESPONSIBILITIES:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The ability to operate each elevator in the hotel utilizing the elevator car panels, transporting guests and patrons safely and smoothly.
• Respond quickly and properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management or staff.
• Must follow proper payroll procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong oral and verbal communication; proficiency in the English language
• Must possess an upbeat, friendly and congenial personality while greeting guests, operating the elevators and/or maintaining a post in the lobby. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 *Standing in small area without leaning

* Forward bend of head and neck to operate controls  

Force:                 * 0 lbs.  

Repetitions:     * Standing is continuous throughout shift

Sensory:         * Sight, speech, and hearing are necessary for communication with guests
