Job Description

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue and occupancy. This role involves leading a sales team, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, sales, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develops and implements comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Leads and motivates a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Negotiates contracts and rates with clients.
  • Manages sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyzes market trends and competitor activities.
  • Represents the hotel at industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience.

Education & Experience:

  • Proven track record in sales and management within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
