Opportunity: Director of Hotel Technology

HHM Hotels is an industry-leading hotel investment, management and development firm that provides turn-key management solutions to over 230 hotels across the United States, which includes world class brands (Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG) in the select service and full-service markets as well as a collection of over 30 independent and boutique hotels.

HHM Hotels is seeking a Director of Hotel Technology to oversee portfolio-wide support for guest-facing technology, telecommunications, and guest satisfaction (GSS) improvements, and act as a liaison with outside vendors and the operations team. Further, this individual will direct IT support for nearly 3,000 end users in hotels, corporate offices, and regionally located leaders.

This position can be remote-based in the Northeast US, or out of our corporate offices in Harrisburg, PA or Philadelphia, PA.

Your Focus

Leadership:

  • Partner with Regional Operations, Hotel Leadership, and Corporate Teams to execute enterprise technology initiatives aligned with operational goals, guest experience, and business priorities.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to support innovation and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team with strong technical expertise, operational knowledge, and service orientation.

Execution and Oversite:

  • Lead portfolio-wide hotel technology projects from planning through execution, including scope, timelines, stakeholders, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Partner with IT teams and property leadership to coordinate system implementations, upgrades, support strategies, and operational priorities across the portfolio.

Service Delivery with 3rd Parties:

  • Oversee deployment, administration, and ongoing support for infrastructure, hotel operational systems, end-user technology, and guest-facing platforms.
  • Partner with vendors and IT teams to support business continuity, asset management, training, documentation, and knowledge transfer across the portfolio.

Operational Effectiveness:

  • Collaborate with IT Teams to Identify and implement operational and service improvement metrics, SLA’s and support processes necessary to ensure service performance, scalability, reliability and uptime
  • Liaison with Corporate Human Resources, Operations and Training teams to maintain current knowledge of training and develop tools and systems, operational systems best practices and company policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Vendors, 3rd Party Business Partners and Service Providers. Ensure service providers perform to contractual SLAs and service obligations

Financial & Governance:

  • Support IT financial planning, governance, security, compliance, and change management processes in alignment with enterprise standards and operational objectives.

Your Background & Skills

  • 5+ years of technology leadership experience, preferably within hospitality or a multi-unit environment
  • Strong operational and technical understanding of hotel technology systems and support functions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate complex challenges, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to travel to properties as needed
