Why You’ll Love Being Part Of The Scott

Your Daily Impact

You’ll help ensure every guest room and suite meets The Scott Resort & Spa’s high standards for cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. You’ll work independently while remaining connected to a supportive Housekeeping team committed to making each stay exceptional.

  • Clean and refresh guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, balconies, and public-facing room areas to resort standards.
  • Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tile, counters, and floor surfaces using approved cleaning tools and products.
  • Strip, make, and refresh beds and sofa beds; replace linens and bedspreads as needed.
  • Dust furniture, artwork, drawers, window ledges, shelves, and door thresholds with care and attention to detail.
  • Vacuum suites, empty trash, sweep balconies, and leave every space looking polished and inviting.
  • Replenish amenities, linens, and in-room supplies so guests have everything they need.
  • Retrieve, push, organize, and restock housekeeping carts throughout the shift.
  • Respond promptly and warmly to guest requests, including requests for irons, directions, safety information, and other assistance.
  • Safeguard guest privacy by signing for room keys and following all resort security procedures.
  • Report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and lost-and-found items promptly to the appropriate leader or department.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Previous room attendant or hotel room-cleaning experience is preferred, though we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and great attitude.
  • A commitment to dependable attendance and arriving ready to contribute—reliability is essential to creating a seamless guest experience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and fellow associates.
  • Enough English comprehension to understand labels, instructions, safety information, and basic guest requests.
  • A sharp eye for detail, a sense of urgency, and pride in delivering consistently thorough work.
  • The ability to follow directions, manage time effectively, and complete a minimum of 16 thoroughly cleaned rooms as assigned by management.
  • A polished, professional appearance appropriate for a four-diamond resort.

Ready For An Active, Hands-On Role?

This is an energetic position for someone who enjoys moving, accomplishing, and seeing the results of their work. You should be able to push and pull equipment weighing up to 100 pounds; retrieve and maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart; vacuum; bend; reach overhead; scrub and scour surfaces; and work comfortably in confined spaces.

Hospitality With Heart

Our purpose is simple: Making space for genuine hospitality. At The Scott Resort & Spa, we live that purpose through our pillars: Hands On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Conscientious.

Here, you’ll help turn a Scottsdale visit into a story guests can’t wait to relive—and a resort they can’t wait to return to.

About Marc & Rose Hospitality

Practicing Genuine Hospitality Since 1962

Marc & Rose is a hospitality collective of iconic resorts and hidden gems, each rooted in its destination and united by a shared purpose: to make space for genuine hospitality. As owner-operators, we believe hospitality is more than service -- it's a daily practice rooted in empathy, curiosity, and care. Every property has its own character, but all are connected by a commitment to creating thoughtful experiences that bring people together.

Our purpose comes to life through four guiding pillars: Hands-On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Always Conscientious. These values shape how we welcome our guests, support one another, and continually learn, grow, and improve.

We know that each of us is the host one day; the next, the traveler. That perspective reminds us to approach every interaction with empathy, intention, and care. It shapes how we welcome our guests, support our colleagues, and build places where people feel they belong. Because genuine hospitality isn't defined by a single role -- it's created by every person who chooses to practice it.

Working at Marc & Rose means being part of a team that takes pride in the details, invests in your growth, and believes the best experiences come from people who genuinely want to be there. Across a collection of distinctive destinations, you'll find meaningful work, room to grow your craft, and colleagues who care about doing things well.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to welcome you.
