We’re looking for an energetic, detail-minded team member who takes pride in keeping those spaces impeccably clean, organized, and ready to welcome every guest.

This is more than keeping things tidy—it’s helping create the effortless, elevated escape guests expect from a Four-Diamond resort just moments from Old Town Scottsdale’s dining, art, shopping, and desert-inspired energy. If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a supportive team, and making a visible difference every shift, you’ll feel right at home here.

What Makes The Scott Special

Our purpose is simple: Making space for genuine hospitality. We bring that purpose to life through our Pillars: Hands On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Conscientious.

At The Scott, associates are forward-thinking, fun, friendly, engaged, and enthusiastic. We treat each guest as if they were our only guest—and we support one another in delivering the thoughtful service that keeps guests returning to Scottsdale again and again.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Keep guest walkways, foyers, stairwells, breezeways, vending areas, housekeeping closets, storage spaces, and linen rooms clean, orderly, and guest-ready.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, spot clean, dust, and polish public and back-of-house areas to maintain resort standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Dust and polish guest-room door lighting and room numbers, and clean hallway-door windows.
  • Receive clean linen from Laundry and stock guest-floor linen closets neatly and efficiently.
  • Remove soiled linen and trash from Room Attendant carts and assist with trash and linen removal from guest rooms as requested.
  • Ensure soiled laundry is delivered to Housekeeping at the end of the day for outside-service pickup.
  • Remove dirty dishes from housekeeping closets daily and deliver them to Stewarding for washing.
  • Keep housekeeping closets, storage areas, and linen rooms organized and impeccable for the next shift.
  • Support Room Attendants with heavy lifting, special cleaning projects, and other requested assistance.
  • Report found or missing items, damages, merchandise concerns, suspicious activity, and hazardous conditions promptly to the appropriate supervisor, Manager on Duty, and/or Security.
  • Respond warmly and professionally to guests and colleagues, offering directions, information, and assistance whenever needed.
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette and maintain clear, respectful communication with fellow associates.
  • Help provide guidance for guests and associates during fire or other emergency situations.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by Housekeeping leadership, the Director of Rooms, or General Manager.

The Energy You’ll Bring

  • A genuine commitment to honesty, professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
  • A friendly, service-oriented approach with both guests and fellow associates.
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to speak, listen, read, and write in English sufficiently to understand safety information, product labels, and emergency instructions.
  • The ability to follow directions, work independently, and contribute positively to a collaborative team.
  • A polished personal appearance and willingness to follow resort grooming, uniform, company pin, and radio/earpiece standards appropriate for a Four-Diamond resort.
  • A dependable approach to scheduled shifts—regular and consistent attendance is essential.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is preferred, though a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Knowledge of stain removal, chemical cleaning agents, and cleaning equipment is helpful.
  • The ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • The ability to safely move equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • The ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors and department leaders.

Make Every Detail Count

In Scottsdale, where desert beauty meets vibrant city energy, The Scott Resort & Spa delivers an experience that feels both welcoming and wonderfully unexpected. Join a team that believes a freshly prepared hallway, a perfectly stocked linen closet, and a helping hand for a teammate can all become part of a guest’s lasting impression.

Come bring your care, your energy, and your eye for detail to a resort where hospitality shines in every space.

About Marc & Rose Hospitality

Practicing Genuine Hospitality Since 1962

Marc & Rose is a hospitality collective of iconic resorts and hidden gems, each rooted in its destination and united by a shared purpose: to make space for genuine hospitality. As owner-operators, we believe hospitality is more than service -- it's a daily practice rooted in empathy, curiosity, and care. Every property has its own character, but all are connected by a commitment to creating thoughtful experiences that bring people together.

Our purpose comes to life through four guiding pillars: Hands-On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Always Conscientious. These values shape how we welcome our guests, support one another, and continually learn, grow, and improve.

We know that each of us is the host one day; the next, the traveler. That perspective reminds us to approach every interaction with empathy, intention, and care. It shapes how we welcome our guests, support our colleagues, and build places where people feel they belong. Because genuine hospitality isn't defined by a single role -- it's created by every person who chooses to practice it.

Working at Marc & Rose means being part of a team that takes pride in the details, invests in your growth, and believes the best experiences come from people who genuinely want to be there. Across a collection of distinctive destinations, you'll find meaningful work, room to grow your craft, and colleagues who care about doing things well.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to welcome you.
