Hotel Laundry Attendant 

We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. In this role, you will help ensure our linens are cleaned, processed, and stored to high quality standards, supporting both housekeeping and overall hotel operations. Overview 

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing hotel linens while maintaining a clean and efficient laundry operation. This role supports the housekeeping team by ensuring all linens are processed to company quality standards and delivered where needed throughout the hotel. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate commercial washing and drying equipment; load and unload machines safely and efficiently. 

• Measure and administer cleaning agents according to product specifications. 

• Monitor washer and dryer performance and report any irregularities to the supervisor. 

• Collect dirty linens from housekeeping carts and/or guest rooms. 

• Pre‑sort and classify linens, transferring items to appropriate workstations. 

• Run folding equipment to process towels, blankets, sheets, bedspreads, and other linens. 

• Separate laundry requiring stain treatment or mending. 

• Clean empty hampers and maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment. 

• Set proper drying and cooling times for different linen types. 

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage closets. 

• Stock linen storage rooms with cleaned products and deliver linens to housekeeping carts as needed. 

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications 

• Basic reading and writing skills. 

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required. 

• Ability to follow cleaning, safety, and equipment‑handling procedures. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

• Good communication skills when interacting with supervisors and team members. 

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. 

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. 

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (linens, supplies, equipment).
