What you'll do
  • Lead your station with confidence — prep, execute, and expedite with precision during service
  • Mentor and guide junior cooks, setting the standard for technique, consistency, and kitchen culture
  • Work with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients — know your purveyors, respect the produce
  • Assist with prep, mise en place, and station organization to keep service running seamlessly
  • Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and storage standards — always, not just during inspections
  • Bring ideas to the table — our culinary program values input from every member of the team
  • Assist with inventory, ordering support, and reducing waste through smart prep and planning

Qualifications

What you bring
  • 2+ years of line cook experience in a full-service kitchen
  • Proven ability to lead a station during high-volume service
  • Genuine passion for food craft, creativity, and local ingredients
  • Solid knife skills, strong palate, and an eye for plating detail
  • Ability to stay calm, focused, and positive under pressure
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Team-first mentality and strong communication skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
