Lead Banquet Set Up Attendant at The Abbey Resort
Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour,

Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in bringing events to life? The Abbey Resort is seeking a Lead Banquet Set-Up Attendant to oversee event setups and ensure every meeting, wedding, banquet, and special event is executed flawlessly. If you're organized, team-oriented, and enjoy creating exceptional guest experiences behind the scenes, this is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team on the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva.

Job Type: Full Time - Hourly

Rate of Pay: $16 - $18

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support the banquet setup team to ensure timely and accurate event execution
  • Coordinate room setups according to event specifications and client requirements
  • Inspect setup areas to ensure quality standards and event expectations are met
  • Communicate with event staff and other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Train team members on setup procedures, safety practices, and service standards
  • Troubleshoot setup challenges and make real-time adjustments as needed
  • Manage banquet equipment, supplies, and inventory to support successful events

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of event setup, banquet operations, or hospitality experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing event needs
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service
  • Experience coordinating teams, equipment, and event logistics
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
