Banquet Supervisor at The Abbey Resort
Compensation: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour plus commission,

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment? The Abbey Resort is seeking a Banquets Supervisor to help oversee the successful execution of meetings, weddings, conferences, and special events on the shores of Lake Geneva. In this role, you'll lead banquet operations, coordinate event setups, support service teams, and ensure every event is delivered with excellence. If you're organized, adaptable, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to have you on our team.

Job Type: Full Time - Hourly

Rate of Pay: $15 - $17 + Commission

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise banquet room setup, breakdown, and event execution according to event specifications
  • Lead banquet staff and ensure service, cleanliness, and presentation standards are met
  • Coordinate banquet operations, including food service, beverage service, and audiovisual setup
  • Respond quickly to changing event needs and last-minute requests
  • Maintain banquet facilities, equipment, and evet spaces to resort standards
  • Partner with managers and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Assist with staff training, scheduling, and daily operational support as needed

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of hotel, banquet, event, or hospitality experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
